The Christian Formation Commission (CFC)

The Christian Formation Commission for the Immaculate Heart of Mary School and Preschool is a group of lay people in the parish, who,along with the clergy, principal, preschool director and parish council representative are dedicated to the promotion and welfare of Catholic education. The CFC is commissioned by the Parish Council and reports directly to that council each month. The purpose of the CFC of Immaculate Heart of Mary School and Parish is to assist the Parish Council in the formulation of written guidelines and policies for the operation of Immaculate Heart of Mary School and Preschool. The CFC oversees the activities of all school-related organizations.

A subcommittee of the CFC is the Christian Formation Commission Finance Council (CFCFC) who reviews the budget and reports to the CFC regarding said budget. Then, the CFC strives to provide constructive ideas, input, and expertise regarding the operation of the school.

The CFC is made up of members including school parents/guardians, clergy, principal, preschool director and parish council representative. The CFC meets monthly during the school year.

Parents with specific concerns, questions, and suggestions are encouraged to contact the principal directly or may contact the CFC representatives listed below. The CFC representative will discuss concerns, questions or suggestions with the principal directly.
